Being
in my magnificence
How can I be in my magnificence?
If I am in my magnificence
I will twirl and twirl and twirl,
Around and around the globe
And all through the world.
And what will they all say?
If I am in my magnificence
And feel the expansiveness of my huge spirit,
I know my eyes will roll back,
In the blissful, ecstatic nectar of it.
I will swoon and swoon in satori,
For days on end,
As the waves of ecstasy wash over me,
Crashing and breaking against Divine Oneness,
As I soar in the essence of my Divine Nature -
And realization of self.
If I am in my magnificence
I will be joyously laughing and flowing,
Existing in my Divine-knowing
As I walk down the common street,
Eyes shining, while meeting, connecting with,
And penetrating other eyes –
Grabbing passersby to twirl them, embrace them,
And hugging homeless people one and all!!
What will they say?
How
can I FULLY dwell in my magnificence
And exist on this planet?

Compassion of self
God bless me in all of my imperfections.
God bless me in all my in-processness.
For all the ways I long to be
But have not figured out how to yet.
For all the ways I am, that I don’t like,
And want to change
God bless me.
For the pain I endure
When I don’t know how or where
To find the courage to do
What I know is best for me,
Dear God please bless me.
In the chaos and confusion
That live in my head,
My mind, my thinking,
God bless me.
For all the ways I’m still petty,
Judgmental, narcissistic and selfish.
For all the ways I dishonor myself,
For all the ways I compare myself to others
And put myself down.
For the ways I speak to myself
That does not support me
In being my highest and truest self,
Guiding me to my own authenticity.
For not always knowing my own worth,
My own preciousness, my own beauty,
My own perfection ......
God please bless and forgive me.

May We Remember
("A prayer" submitted 11/9/01 – 2 months after Sept.11th)
May we remember that we are all one
That there is no “them” and “us”
That we all come from the same source
And are therefore brothers and sisters.
And even though we all call “God” by different names,
This Source, this One-ness from which we all come, is the same.
The names are many …..but God is one.
May we realize that when we hurt our brothers and sisters
We hurt ourselves as well -
So that we learn to treat others the way we want to be treated –
With compassion, respect and love,
With understanding, forgiveness and kindness.
May we be able to pierce through the veil of illusion
And realize that there is no lack and no suffering,
That there is only abundance
And that we create our own reality with our beliefs.
To understand consciously that we came here to learn
And that everyone and everything is our teacher.
May God bless and guide us
To create a loving and peaceful world for all.
Dear Lord, please hear our prayers
Please show us the way.
